How TerraLux handles the information you give us.

TerraLux LLC, trading as TerraLux Acquisitions ("TerraLux", "we", "us"), buys residential property directly from owners. This policy explains what we collect through terraluxacquisitions.com, why we collect it, and what we will and will not do with it.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us. Our contact form asks for:
- Name and email address — so we can reply.
- Phone number — optional. Give it only if you would rather we call or text.
- Message and company — optional context about the property.
We do not require a phone number to respond to you, and we do not buy or rent contact lists to populate this site's forms.
Text messages
If you tick the SMS consent box on our contact form, you are giving express written consent to receive text messages from TerraLux about your property and your enquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of us making you an offer.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, other than the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages themselves.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your property.
- To prepare and send you an offer, if you want one.
- To coordinate a closing with a title company or attorney, if we reach an agreement.
- To keep records we are required to keep as a party to a real estate transaction.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not pass it to data brokers.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary to do what you asked us to do:
- Service providers that run our email, phone and text systems, and our customer records. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
- Transaction parties — a title company, escrow agent or attorney — but only once you and we are working towards a closing.
- Where the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order.
How long we keep it
If we do not end up doing business together, we keep your enquiry for up to twenty-four months and then delete it. If we complete a transaction, we keep the transaction records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- Stop texts — reply STOP to any message.
- Stop emails — reply and ask, or use the unsubscribe link.
- See, correct or delete what we hold — email info@terraluxacquisitions.com and we will action it.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information. Ask and we will honour them.
Security
Our site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No system is perfect, so please do not send sensitive identifiers such as a Social Security number through the contact form.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
